About
Stacy Marshall
(She/They)

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a native Texan. I lived in the Dallas area for most of my life, and recently moved to the Austin area. I received my Masters Degree from UNT Dallas in 2018, and completed my internship at Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center working with victims of child abuse. I provided counseling services at The Family Place domestic violence shelter before transitioning to private practice.
In my free time, I love to read, bake, and spend time with my partner and our two dogs Toto and Simba. I also love to write and hope to be published someday.

A note on the current political climate:

Things are feeling particularly dangerous right now for marginalized communities in Texas and the US. Threats to the LGBTQ+ community and neurodivergent community are increasing, and are highly concerning to me as both a member of these communities and as a practitioner serving them.

For all my clients, current and prospective, I want you to know that I will do everything in my power to keep your information secure and private. I do not intend to comply with any unethical laws or demands that would put your safety at risk.

If you have concerns about this issue, please let me know and we can discuss all possible safety measures.
