Do you offer consultations?

Yes, I offer a 15 minute phone consultation. Some clients choose to have a consultation before their initial session to ask questions or discuss if we will be a good fit for one another. Visit the Contact page to request a phone consultation.

What does therapy look like? What can I expect?

We will typically meet weekly or biweekly for about 50 minutes per session. I always want our work together to be a collaborative process, so we will structure our time together around your goals. This is your space, and you get to decide how it looks.

3

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions that a client will need varies widely. It will depend on how long you would like to attend, how many goals you have, and how deeply you want to dive. Some clients are looking to stay near the surface and work on coping skills and solutions to daily life problems. Others want to explore further into their own past or their inner world.

4

Do you provide letters of support for gender-affirming medical procedures?

Yes! We will need to have at least one session together, to ensure that I am able to provide the appropriate level of documentation. Some insurance providers require that we meet for a certain number of sessions, while others do not, so check with your insurance provider about their requirements. I know that these processes can be confusing and even overwhelming, and I want to support you in any way that I can.
